Just when you’re thinking how this beautiful Sunday morning has imbued you with new hope that all the world’s wrongs may be righted and maybe people are pretty okay after all, comes this news from the HumCo Sheriff’s Dept:
June 24, 2011 - a Eureka man is recovering from head injuries he received during a robbery that occurred earlier that evening. The victim was picked up at the Sequoia Park and given a ride to the Cutten area. While in the vehicle the victim was struck on the back of the head causing him to lose consciousness. Medication and other property were taken from the victim before he was eventually able to escape.
The ongoing investigation revealed the suspects as Chandler Nelson, a 37-year-old, white male, 6’2’’, 165 lbs. with black hair and blue eyes, and Ginger Howard, a 32-year-old, white female, 5’ 2’’, 115 lbs. with blond hair and green eyes. Anyone with information on either of their whereabouts is asked to call 707-445-7251
