Callers to KWPT report, and the Redding Record-Searchlight confirms, that Highway 299 is still closed in both directions after a propane truck rolled over just east of Big Bar yesterday afternoon. In addition to blocking both lanes, the explosive vehicle is partially hanging over a cliff.

No one was injured. The R-S says that the road should be open again sometime today, presumably after Nicolas Cage and Ving Rhames fly in on a helicopter and handle the situation.
