UPDATE 6:58 A.M.: As of now, Hwy 99 96is open to one way controlled traffic.
UPDATE 6:19 A.M:As of now, Hwy 99 96 is still closed.
UPDATE 9:15 P.M. on Wednesday the 14th: 96 will be closed throughout the night. The CHP have also updated the gps co-ordinates to south of Hoopa and I’ve updated the map to reflect this.

The CHP site is reporting that State Route 96 is closed due to a mud and rock slide northeast of Orleans. At this point they are requesting tribal police to stop traffic at Tish Tang Rd.
