In a continued effort to offer something special the first Friday of every month the Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us Friday, August 3rd for  FREE face painting for children in front of the town clock.  This activity is made possible by a grant from Hops for Humboldt so please support their event in Fortuna August 25th as they continue to give back to our community!  If you’d like to volunteer your services or donate another free activity for kids on August 3rd please call the Chamber at 923-2613.

 

The Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District along with Blue Star Gas will be hosting a Chamber Mixer on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Southern Humboldt Community Clinic’s lobby and courtyard located at 509 Elm Street in Garberville.  Marcin Matuszkiewicz, M.D. the new Clinic physician will be in attendance.  The Governing Board of SHCHD and Blue Star Gas invite the Chamber of Commerce members, Community, Civic and Business Leaders, SHCHD employees and all interested members of the community to attend.  Light refreshments will be served.
