The Record Searchlight is reporting that the shooting which occurred near West Valley High School about 15 miles south of Redding involved at least two maybe three victims. According to their updated post,
The gunshot victims are a 45-year-old man and 24-year-old pregnant woman, paramedics said.
The woman told paramedics she was shot while riding in a vehicle, which she said was traveling 10 to 15 miles per hour before she jumped out. The unidentified woman sustained shotgun pellet wounds to her head.
The unidentified man sustained wounds to the base of his neck, paramedics said.
A woman in the area was seen crying and cursing while she was on the phone. She yelled, “I want to know what’s going on with my daughter right now.” The woman refused to talk to reporters.
