Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
On 02-23-2012, approximately 1:00 p.m. the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office Community Response Unit conducted a probation search in the 400 block of South Road, Stafford, after receiving complaints about possible drug sales and activity. When deputies arrived at the residence they met with probationer David Charles Cox, 57 years who is on probation for transportation or sale of a controlled substance.
Deputies searched the residence and located fifteen marijuana plants being grown indoors, approximately 64 grams of Hashish and Oxycotin pills. Deputies also located possible sewage and electrical issues at the residence.
Humboldt County Code Enforcement was called to the scene to investigate those issues.
Cox was arrested for possession of a narcotic, cultivation of marijuana, possession of concentrated cannabis and violation of probation.
