UPDATE: 2:03 PM

KHUM callers continue to affirm 101’s passibility through the slide site. Several callers noted that the CalTrans crews seemed to be on top of the situation.

Additionally, 299 and 36 are still wide open.

DEVELOPING:

Massive Facebook chatter suggests ORE 255 near Brookings is the affected road, but we’re unfamiliar with that turf. Any local intel would be appreciated.

As for the Southern Humboldt 101 slide site, KHUM callers are reporting smooth sailing despite one northbound lane closed.

CalTrans is currently reporting no delays or closures on 299, 36, or 101. Check their latest reports.
