Last week I suggested that Republican Karen Brooks was facing a big challenge in her quest to unseat Third District Supervisor Mark Lovelace next year. The candidate’s praise for the Tea Party, as well as her various more mainstream Republican positions, might well be a liability in liberal Arcata, I supposed.
But then — bam! — the Brooks team comes back with a campaign logo that proves they know exactly what time it is.
