Five years ago to the day, KHUM Morning DJ, Cliff Berkowitz was struck and severely injured while bike commuting along the 101 between Ferndale and Eureka. Ironically earlier in the day, Cliff interviewed Hank Sims (of the North Coast Journal at the time) about an article he wrote about the fight to get a trail between Eureka and Arcata.
