The CHP site announced that a fire north of 299 has started due to downed PG&E lines. This can be dangerous. The Flat Fire which temporarily closed Hwy 299 earlier this week is still going strong not far from there (relatively speaking.) It is over a 1000 acres and only 30% contained.
