UPDATE:The CHP site says there has been a call for the coroner. Diana Totten who stopped to try and help stabilize one of the victims says that a helicopter is incoming for the driver of the car. Weott VFD is there and several Calfire as well as CHP and Sheriff cars. Caltrans is moving in to block off one lane.

Witness has described a “horrible” accident one mile north of Weott.  Apparently there has been a collision between a motorcycle (possibly a Harley according to the witness) and a passenger vehicle. According to the CHP site, the vehicle then crossed the NB lanes and crashed into the embankment. Debris is strewn across the freeway.
