There are over 100 scholarships available for local students pursuing higher education, says Cassandra Wagner of Humboldt Area Foundation.
She stopped by KHUM to talk about how they’ve streamlined their scholarship application process.
Some scholarships are specific to local schools. While many of these are based on GPA, financial need, or community service, they also have some oddball money for students pursuing, say, the field of professional horseshoeing.
Point being, parents: make your college-bound kid apply.
Breakdown:
• Fill out this one application form
• Your application is then compared to the available scholarships
• If there’s a match, you’re off to the races.
