UPDATE 7:24 P.M.: BMW found by Redcrest about 40 feet up an embankment.

UPDATE 4:50 P.M.: BMW apparently lost officers at least for awhile.

UPDATE 4:18 P.M.: Heading north by Weott.

UPDATE 4:14 P.M.:  Lost him near Miranda.  Officers are looking for the vehicle.

High speed chase in Garberville.  The vehicle headed up to entrance went out; then headed south on the northbound lane of traffic. Somehow the vehicle ended up at Dean Creek. Sheriff and CHP in pursuit.

The vehicle is a black BMW Stationwagon driven by a white male with sunglasses.  Vehicle headed north on Hwy 101.  CHP is catching up near Sylvendale.
