The Mateel is bringing in today, Friday, September 14th, one of the biggest stars of country music, Merle Haggard & The Strangers.  On top of that there will be special guests, The Fryed Brothers Band. 

And, as an added bonus, the  ticket money for this show will benefit South Fork High School (and the kitchen supports KMUD!). 

And, on the heels of Merle Haggard, get ready for more country, bluegrass, and related musical genres at the 8th annual Humboldt Hills Hoedown, an all-day favorite taking place on Saturday, September 22nd
