Perfectly peaceful weather and an almost too peaceful ocean welcomed Surf 4 Peace entrants today. Despite the small surf, enthusiasm remained high for the contest, now in its 9th year. Proceeds benefit Humboldt Surfrider and Ramp Art. Surf 4 Peace continues in full swing tomorrow, starting at 8 a.m. at the North Jetty. Food, beer, skate ramp action and tasty waves!*
