At 7:30 a.m., Ferndale Unified School District Superintendent Jack Lakin will be on KSLG’s John Matthews show to discuss his recently announced ban against media on the sidelines during Ferndale High football games.
This year, the school is subject to punitive sanctions by its league following numerous reports of racial taunting by Ferndale High fans toward opposing team members. These incidents were widely reported in local media, and some are seeing the recently announced sideline ban as payback:
