Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On 04-18-2013, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Detectives obtained a Humboldt County Superior Court Search Warrant for the internet provider to obtain an address from where the suspected posting of the bomb threat originated. Based upon that information Detectives obtained a second Humboldt County Superior Court Search Warrant for an apartment located in the 1000 block of Cousins Street, Eureka. Detectives served that search warrant at approximately 3:30 p.m. on 04-18-2013. No one was located in the apartment when the search warrant was served. Detectives seized numerous electronic items from the apartment to be analyzed for evidence, along with information identifying the occupants of the apartment. No one has been arrested at this time, the investigation is ongoing.
