UPDATE 8:37 P.M.: Traffic control in place. One lane opened.

CHP dispatch is reporting a tree has brought powerlines down on Hwy 36 at highway marker 22.75.  This appears to be about two miles west of the town of Bridgeville. Scanner traffic is indicating that traffic is blocked in both directions. The Bridgefest event should have just wound down so this could be a bit of a traffic snarl.
