Fortuna Police Dept. Press Release:

On August 8th 2013 at about 7:12 am, Officers with the Fortuna Police Department received information that wanted person Jacob Allen Hines was in a residence in the area of Ronald Ave. and School Street in Fortuna. Jacob Allen Hines had recently fled from H.C.S.O. Deputies and was wanted on three outstanding arrest warrants.

Fortuna Officers responded and learned that Hines had just left the residence on foot. With the assistance of citizens Officer were directed towards Tami Drive in Fortuna and Hines was taken into custody in the 3500 block of Tami Drive without incident.

Jacob Allen Hines (age 27) was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked on the three outstanding arrest warrants and a fresh violation of 273.6 P.C., Violation of Domestic Violence Protective Order.
