UPDATE 2:10 P.M.: There is a detour in place. The closed lane is estimated to reopen around 4 P.M.
———————————-
Hwy 101’s southbound lane is closed around 3 miles north of the small town of Leggett in order to allow a tow truck to pull a small KIA sedan up from an accident scene. According to CHP dispatch, an occupant of the car “crawled up into roadway” and suffered minor injuries. The car itself was 300-400 feet over a cliff. A tow truck will be attempting to pull it back onto the roadway.
At this time, it is unknown how long the lane will be closed. Expect delays. Follow updates here.
