Marty Messenger of Humboldt Co. Roads wants to caution folk who live in the hills of Southern Humboldt to be careful.  He says that he has crews sanding but that there are reports of ice on roads that he hasn’t yet been able to get to that area. 

Salmon Creek Road is icy in spite of sanding yesterday. Ettersburg Rd is extremely icy. Shelter Cove Rd. is icy.  Huckleberry Hill is icy. The crew is sanding the Briceland area now. But will be trying to get to Salmon Creek as well as other areas later in the day.
