The North Coast Journal‘s Andrew Goff and LoCO contributor Jen Savage were in Washington today for Pres. Barack Obama’s inaugural hooptie-hoo, where they apparently got close enough to see the giant screen on which the president’s speech was projected.

Goff was kind enough to file a telephonic scene report with KHUM’s Mike Dronkers earlier today. They discuss, mostly, the presidential vehicle, which is apparently rad. Some halfhearted analysis of the speech’s content is included.

Question: Why was Rep. Jared Huffman so happy today? Answer in the interview!
