Eureka – Caltrans District 1 honored 18 employees at the 32nd annual State Service Award ceremony held on Wednesday, July 11 at the Red Lion Hotel in Eureka.  This year, honorees were recognized for having completed 25 and 30 years of state service. Caltrans Chief Deputy Director Norma Ortega was in attendance and personally congratulated each awardee along with Caltrans District 1 Director Charlie Fielder.  Honorees also received a certificate of recognition from both State Senator Noreen Evans and State Assemblymember Wesley Chesbro. 

Director Fielder said, “It is with great pride that we honor this year’s State Service Award recipients for their years of hard work and dedication to the great State of California.”
