Yes, we know, not that big a shocker for frequent flyers of the Humboldt skies. But these projected delays are for non-fog related issues.

Your Lost Coast Outpost was tipped off by the folks at Redwood Region Economic Development Commission that the San Francisco Airport will be closing a number of its runways next week for maintenance. Specifically affected will be flights that originate from airports less than two hours fly time away, since those are easiest to delay or cancel before take off.

Of course, that means us. So if you’re scheduled to depart our California Redwood Coast (deep breath) Humboldt County Airport sometime next week, brace yourself for potential misery.
