We heard something slam up the street at about 5 this morning, and then lots of engine revving before it was again quiet.

Then there was other activity, so I went to look. I Street was closed off with flares and a Police unit at Carson. I walked up to Buhne. Someone had gone through the fence of the house on the southeast corner of Buhne and I. Then they took out the light at the same corner, and a big hunk of sidewalk. Then they took out a length of chain link fence in Carson Park and ended up bashing and unbelievably damaging an old cypress tree.

It would have been hard to achieve all of this had you been trying.

A guy in an SUV arrived and told the cop that he’d seen it and knew where the vehicle was. The cop said that the perp had called and confessed.
