UPDATE 10 P.M.: A reader saw the accident and took the photo above. He said, “Came upon the accident at 12:40, good people were directing traffic, no CHP or ambulance there yet.”

Doug Bryan reported an “[o]verturned Vehicle, Highway 101 near the Honeydew/Bull Creek Rd. Exit. Weott Fire and Cal Fire responding.” Bryan is Southern Humboldt Fire Chiefs Association Public Information Officer.
