Press release from the Eureka Police Department:

On 05/01/13, officers and detectives with the Eureka Police Department served search warrants at the 4000 block of ‘F’ St and the 2600 block of Garland St in Eureka. The search warrants were served in response to various complaints received regarding the occupants of these residences.

During the service of the search warrants detectives seized 2 firearms, 90 Marijuana plants, 180 grams of Hashish, and $9000.00 in cash. As a result of the investigation, Michelle Mendoza (age 20) was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales, Marijuana Cultivation, and Possession of Hashish. PG&E responded and disconnected electric service to the residence at the 4000 block of ‘F’ St, due to unsafe wiring installed to operate the Marijuana grow.
