From the Eureka Police Department:

On 11/04/13 at 4:20 p.m. detectives with the Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit (POP) responded to the 1800 block of Third Street and conducted a probation search on Anthony Valandingham Pratt, Sr., 49, of Eureka and Jessica Mari Temple, 28, also of Eureka.

As a result of the probation search, the POP detectives located approximately 12.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging materials, and a digital scale. Pratt was also found to have three felony warrants for his arrest.

The detectives found five of Temple’s children at the apartment ages 13 and under. The children were released to a responsible adult on scene.

Pratt Sr. and Temple were arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Sales and Probation Violations.
