UPDATE, 9:07 a.m.: LoCO contributor Mark McKenna, on the scene, tells us that the accident took place after two cars bumped into each other while driving down Harris. One car somehow swerved and possibly accelerated into the home.

A large flower pot in the front yard of the place flew through a window and landed on the homeowner’s couch, McKenna says.

Everyone is OK.

A van plowed through a fence and into a home near the corner of C and Harris streets in Eureka early this morning. 

Multiple people on the Outpost’s Facebook page are saying that EPD officers on the scene are “scolding” or “yelling” at them for attempting to take a picture. C’mon, now, EPD. We’ve been through this before, and promises were made.
