Sgt. Steve Watson of the Eureka Police Dept. said that late this morning a jacketnabber at the Bayshore Mall tried escaping on a bicycle with “a couple of coats” he had purloined from one of the stores there. An officer of the EPD pursued the alleged thief around and about the parking lot before finally captured the bandit on a bike.

You could say the guy jacked the jackets… . You might say the Mall was having a run on coats today.
