Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release: 

On 10-28-2013, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the Humboldt Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a robbery which just occurred. The clerk at the Patriot Gas Station located at 39143 State Highway 299, Willow Creek reported he was just robbed. The suspect stole all the cash from the register. When deputies arrived they met with the clerk who told them he was just robbed by a male suspect who fled on foot. The clerk told the deputies he believed the suspect was armed with a pistol, but never actually saw one. The suspect held one of his hands inside his coat pocket the entire time and implied he had a gun. The suspect told the clerk to put all the money in a bag. After the money was put in a bag, the suspect fled. The clerk was not injured.

Deputies checked the area for the suspect who was described as a white male adult, 6’ tall, wearing a green Gortex style jacket, with a zipped up hood, light blond hair, approximately 200 lbs and was wearing blue gloves. Deputies did not locate the suspect.
