On 9/13/13 a press release was sent out stating that Keith Kiyoshi Kakagawa, age 54 from Eureka, was arrested for sexual assault. 

The correct spelling of the suspect’s name is Keith Kiyoshi Kakugawa, age 54 from Eureka.

Arcata Police Dept. Press Release:

On 9-13-2013 at about 9:00am officers from the Arcata Police Department responded to an address in Arcata on the report of a sexual assualt.  Detectives conducted an investigation during the day that led to the identification of a suspect. 

At about 4:00pm Keith Kiyoshi Kakagawa, age 54 from Eureka, was arrested at his home and was booked and lodged at the Humboldt County Jail.  He was charged with:  236 PC; false imprisonment, 289(a)(1) PC; sexual penetration by force, 288a(2) PC; oral copulation by force, and 243(d); battery.
