Suddenlink is out in the Fortuna area. Suddenlink’s pleasant technician couldn’t tell the LoCO anything other than there is an outage affecting the Fortuna area which started around 7:30 P.M. and a technician is on the way.  What was causing the outage, how many people it affected, or how long until it was fixed were subjects that apparently could only be handled by the public relations crew…who won’t be in until Monday.

With that cheerful note of corporate helpfulness, Suddenlink customers are left to fend for themselves.
