UPDATE 3:06 P.M.: The Communtiy center was evacuated but, now, says Alicia Carter who is a receptionist at the Community Center, “Cal Fire did a wonderful job.”  She says people have been allowed back in and the crews appear to be getting the fire under control.

UPDATE 3:00 P.M.: According to Jessica MacDonald, the community center is being evacuated. Another resident of the area sent in the following photos of her goats’ enclosure near the fire and crews working.

UPDATE 2:52 P.M.: There appear to be at least two fires. One north of the Fernbridge exit and one south. Photo of the fire’s relation to buildings near the Bear River Casino taken from the Pump and Pay gas station.

UPDATE 2:07 P.M.: Photos added. Structures threatened says scanner.

UPDATE 2:03 P.M.: Scanner traffic says smoke may be impacting Hwy 101 traffic. The plan is to shut down Singley onramp to NB 101.

Fire is reported near Fernbridge. Details are sketchy. Scanner traffic is reporting air support on the way.  The scanner is saying vegetation fire near the Fernbridge northbound onramp.
