UPDATE 6:20 p.m.: Patty Steed who lives two doors down from the Clark Street fire sent us the above photo of Humboldt Bay Fire responding to the incident. She wrote us that “a black kitty need rescue, one of the firemen was giving him oxygen.” The Times Standard has some good photos of the firemen and cat here.

Original Post: Scanner traffic says there is a structure fire on West Clark Street in Eureka. Flames are coming from the bottom floor of the two story wood framed structure. There may be residents inside.
