UPDATE 1:45 p.m.: Sgt Mike Wells of the Citrus Heights Police Department has confirmed that officers from his department are in the area as part of an ongoing investigation that originated in Sacramento County. They will be in more than one location today as part of an operation linked to marijuana.

Original post: Lt. Steve Knight confirmed that the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is assisting another agency today in the Hwy 36 area. We had reports of multiple trucks, one car, and a trailer headed east on that road. Knight said that the other agency is the police department of Citrus Heights, California. 

We have requested more information from the Citrus Heights Police Department.
