The following much-appreciated report comes from a comment on LoCO‘s Facebook page from junior volunteer reporter Morgan Cooper:

“Fire is out. Looks to have effected two or three homes. An older man was seen laying outside the home coughing and was taken to the hospital. The house of fire origin in completely destroyed.”

A caller to KWPT reports of a house fire in Eureka on F and Oak streets — a few blocks up from Grant Elementary School. Emergency personnel are controlling traffic.
