LoCO supercontributor Mark McKenna sends in photos and a report from car accident that occurred today around 2 p.m. at Fifth and V streets in Eureka. McKenna writes:

“According to Eureka Police Officer Drake Goodale, two witness stated that the red truck appeared to run the red light while traveling southbound on V Street in Eureka. The truck was struck by a Nissan sedan traveling north on Fifth Street. The driver of the truck was removed through the passenger door of the vehicle and taken to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.”
