UPDATE, 9:55 a.m.: Outpost readers are telling us that traffic is now flowing normally on northbound 101.
UPDATE, 9 a.m.: The CHP is reporting yet another accident just south of the Humboldt Hill exit. This one is reported as a four-car collision. One lane is blocked and an ambulance is responding.

UPDATE, 8:34 p.m.: There has been another accident just up the road — a vehicle v. pedestrian collision near Lithia Motors on the very south end of the city. A reader sent in the following picture. More to come.

KHUM listeners alert us to the fact that Highway 101 is blocked as you come into Eureka from the south. The CHP is attending to an injury accident near the Herrick Avenue/Elk River exit, and both northbound lanes are currently blocked.
