LoCO friend Bob Pagliuco sent this picture along with a description of what went down at the scene. The driver of this truck “launched” through the School Road offramp of Hwy. 101 northbound in McKinleyville, cruising at about 50 miles per hour and finally landing in the ditch, Pagliuco said.

A witness reportedly saw the driver stumble out of the cab and said to him, “You’re drunk.” The man admitted as much before running away, Pagliuco said. Law enforcement arrived shortly thereafter and is now looking for the driver. 

The CHP reported it as a collision. The driver, a man last seen wearing a black parka and black-and-red jeans, was last seen heading west on School Road.
