California Highway Patrol press release:
On 6-22-14 at approximately 5:45PM, Pedro Uribe of Manteca was driving a loaded semi-truck and trailer northbound on US-101 in the Big Lagoon turns. Uribe allowed the truck to leave the roadway, and the truck overturned into a dirt turn-out east of US-101. CHP, Arcata-Mad River Ambulance, and CDF responded.
Uribe suffered soreness in his back and chest, and was transported for medical evaluation.
The vehicle and load remained together, and the highway is open.
