PG&E is reporting that 776 customers are out of power in an area that stretches roughly from Fort Humboldt to Sunset Cemetery. Electricity went out at 1:53 this morning and isn’t expected to be restored until 8 a.m. The cause is not yet known. A crew is on site of the outage and assessing the situation.

UPDATE 8:28 a.m.: Power has been restored.
