A four-car pile up on the 4000 block of Broadway sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries this morning.

Eureka Police Department traffic officer Tim Jones said that the driver of a white Nissan Frontier was traveling southbound on Broadway in the number one lane when, for reasons yet unknown, she failed to stop for other vehicles waiting at a red light. The Nissan collided with a Honda Civic, which was pushed into a Kia Spectra. The Kia pushed into a Kia Soul.

The drivers of the Nissan and of the Honda were transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital with minor injuries.
