A credible source revealed that a 58-year-old male died of a gunshot wound on Mad River Road in Trinity County this Friday. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m.  

Repeated efforts to get information from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office were unsuccessful over the weekend. We will follow up on Monday.
