According to the Bricland Volunteer Fire Department page, their engines responded to a structure fire on near Elk Ridge about 10:30 last night. There were several reports of two large explosions that may be related. Preliminary reports are that a home and one outbuilding were burned. The fire spread to the wildlands but was contained at about a 1/4 an acre.
While we’re waiting for more information, think about supporting all your local Volunteer Fire Departments. Here’s a poster for the next Briceland bash! Remember these folks have to keep their own lives together, take time to train, sometimes fight fires half the night, and then turn around and raise money. Help them if you can.
