Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release: 

On Saturday, September 6, 2014, autopsies were performed on the victims Harley Wayne Hammers Jr. and Angel Robin Tulley. Based on the autopsies, it was determined that Hammers and Tully died as a result of injuries sustained from a firearm. The type of firearm used is not being released at this time. A search warrant was issued for the vehicle that was associated with suspect Jason Michael Arreaga and the vehicle was searched. A firearm was located in the vehicle which may be associated with the double homicide but cannot be confirmed until further forensic exam is conducted on that weapon.  No further details of this investigation are being released at this time.
