JoAnn Barrote Phillips was born 02/21/1953 and grew up in Rio Dell. JoAnn had many friends and a few lifelong friends — Beth Agnew Coppini, Teri Hopkins Tate and Cindy Kurtz Morgan. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed life to the fullest, especially spending time with her family and friends at her summer home in Myers Flat
JoAnn’s greatest joy was raising her wonderful and loving son, Brandon.
JoAnn passed peacefully on 4/14/2015 with family and friends by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dean Phillips and her father, Arthur Lee (Tutti). Barrote. She is survived by her son, Brandon Phillips, step-son, Brian Phillips (Beverly), step-daughter Brenda Baird, her mother, Elsie Barrote, brothers Larry & Alden Barrote and her grandchildren, Austin and Anastasia Phillips, Shana, Tyrell and Brett Baird. She is also survived by many family members including nephews, nieces, and great-nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on April 26, 2015 at the Rio Dell Fire Hall, beginning at 1 p.m.
