This morning the Humboldt Trails Council put on their 2nd annual Jammie Jog. Hundreds of men, women and children gathered in front of Los Bagels on I Street in Arcata. At 9am the starting gun was fired and the crowd dressed in pajamas, robes, and slippers took off around the Arcata bottoms for a one mile and 5K run. Runners were treated to Los Bagels goodies and danced to the music of the Jim Lahman band upon their return.

Amy and I (Dressed in our jammies) were the event MCs and gave out prizes for the best jammie costumes in both adult and children’s categories. All participants received membership in the Humboldt Trails Council and were given flowers from Sun Valley Floral Farm upon their return.
