UPDATE, 9:30 a.m.: A witness to the accident says, contrary to CHP dispatch’s initial report, that this was a two-car collision. One vehicle rear-ended another: both are being towed.

Everyone was able to get out of the overturned car on their own, the witness says.

A car flipped onto its roof on Myrtle Avenue at 19th Street a few minutes ago. An ambulance and the fire department are responding to the crash.

CHP dispatch, which is still treating this as an active inicident as of this writing, has classified it as a single-vehicle collision

There is no word about road or lane closure, but it’d probably be best to take an alternate route, if you can.
