Many LoCO readers have checked in throughout the day about a vehicle vs. power pole collision that occurred around 7:15 a.m. This would seem to have been a minor incident — no one was injured, after all — except that PG&E crews in the area are still working to restore service to the area.
According to the PG&E outage map, an estimated 355 customers are currently without power (seems like more than when we checked earlier) with 6 p.m. being the expected time service will be restored. Crews are said to be working very near Zane Middle School which lets out soon. Something to keep in mind when you’re picking up the kiddos, maybe.
